Thermoplastic Line Markings, Norfolk

THE PROBLEM

As part of our clients Kaizen programme they wanted to improve the scrap pallet storage area by providing clear line markings clearly demarcating where and how the pallets should be stored.

The area could only be accessed out of working hours due to frequent lorry movements in the area.

THE SOLUTION

We proposed the installation of thermoplastic line markings as a cost effective and rapidly installed line marking solution.

Once the line marking design to be installed had been agreed with the client the areas to be marked were prepared by vacuum controlled diamond grinding to remove surface laitance and contamination that would prevent maximum adhesion of the new line markings.

All areas to be marked with primed using Promain Centrecoat Aerosol tack coat to promote adhesion of the line markings.

Promain Centrecoat Thermoplastic Line Marking tape was then carefully measured, cut to size and orientated, before being torched on in line with the manufacturers recommendations.

Finally lettering was installed to clearly identify the purpose of the area, neatly finishing this line marking project.
